How long will it take to install my fence?

What do I need to know before having the fence installed?
You need to assess: The purpose of the fence (privacy, pet or pool enclosure, property, etc.). Where the fence will be located, exactly. What type of fence you want (materials, height, style, features and accessories). When you plan to have the work completed. (For example, are there landscaping, remodeling, or surveying issues which need to be completed before the fence installation?) When a fence is well-planned, properly designed, carefully crafted, and expertly installed, it blends in well with the existing landscape.
How long will my fence last?
The life of a fence depends on many factors, including, the integrity of the fabrication climate, materials used, climate and soil conditions to name a few. A properly built and expertly installed Steve Morrison fence should provide at least 15 to 20 years of enjoyment.
Should I paint or stain my wood fence?
We recommend applying a protective finish to the fence after installation. This helps to minimize the effects of weathering and to maximize the life-span of your fence. You might also want to check your sprinklers and make sure that the spray is avoiding the fence if possible.
I would like an old-fashioned picket fence. How can I avoid painting it every year?
Depending on the location of your fence, you might want to consider a natural finish with a waterproof seal.
